A typical inverter comprises of a full bridge that is constructed with four switches, which can be modulated using pulse width modulation (PWM), and a filter for the high-frequency switching of the bridge, as shown in Figure 1. In the inverter part, four metal oxide semiconductor tubes (MOS transistors) are used to form a single-phase bridge inverter circuit. The output SPWM waveform is filtered by the LC filter composed of inductors and capacitors to obtain a 10V pure sine wave.
